My daughter who is 5 is a science kid. She always loves constructing things, building new stuffs and gets creative with her experiments in kitchen. This was a perfect kit to get at this stage since this does help children with their construction ideas and help them to figure out how magnetic fields works. As a basic step, she started to construct different shapes out of it. I was so impressed to see that she could easily figure how many shapes and corner does each 2D and 3D shapes have by connecting and counting Magnetic Rods and Metal balls.. Then she headed a step further with innovative constructions. Not only all the rods but triangle and pentagon ghost panels and translucent panel were glow in the dark which amazes kids how that reflect with their ideas. I am so pleased with this Geomag 37-Piece Glow-in-the-Dark Ghost Construction Set.
